Marion Students Capture Best of Show in State Jim Harbin Awards
Marion County television production students continue to capture more awards than any other Florida school district in this year's Jim Harbin Student Media Festival.
Marion students earned 20 total awards this year, in addition to capturing Best of Show in K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.
Other district finishes included Palm Beach County with 12 awards, Pinellas County with 7 awards, Polk County with 7 awards, and Orange County with 13 awards.
Many of Marion County's winners advanced to state competition after winning at the local ninth annual Marion County Student Media Festival held earlier this year.
Entries for 2012 are due April 6th
