Local educators will learn as experts who provide current technology share their ideas, uses, and "best practices" for classroom learning. Current presenters include Anthony Salcito with Microsoft (bio information), Dr. Mark Benno with Apple (known as the "Curriculum Evangelist;" bio information), and representatives from industry leaders including Dell, Texas Instruments, SMART Technologies, Accelerated Reader, EasiTeach, Xerox, McGraw Hill, and others. |
|
| The "Day of Technology" idea started last year when the district's Technology and Information Systems department wanted to expose teachers to the latest technology used in classrooms all over Marion County. 2009's one-day event expands to two days this year to accommodate more presenters and attendees. Photos of last year's event are embedded in this article. |
