CTAE classes offer individual attention from knowledgeable instructors for much less than you might think! These classes are in session now, but students can still enroll. Whether you are looking to learn a new skill, find a new hobby, or meet people with similar interests, CTAE has what you are looking for.
Recreation and leisure courses include: Spanish, Sign Language, Belly Dancing, Salsa Dancing, Ballroom Dancing, Yoga, Heart Healthy Cooking, Taste of the Mediterranean, How to Boil Water, Bread Baking, Cake Decorating, Clay Sculpting, Pottery, Water Color, Paper Making, Stained Glass, Floral Arranging, Sewing, Basket Weaving, and Photography.
Workforce education classes include Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint to learn the basics, or work toward a Microsoft MCAS Certification. CTAE is a Certiport Testing Facility, allowing students to earn certification in any of the Microsoft Office products. Additionally, CTAE offers QuickBooks, Windows Vista, Adobe Photoshop, basic computer skills classes, Internet usage, and computer etiquette courses.
Workforce Education courses are offered during the morning and evening hours starting in February and April. School Board employees enrolled in these courses may earn MIP points toward certification and re-certification.
