    To provide technical assistance to the Marion County School District to ensure compliance of federal laws, state statutes, and school board policies in governance of providing an equal opportunity in employment, educational programs, services, and activities to all.

    New times at MCPS

    The school system's website is being redesigned. The design and content will therefore change, and you may experience for a while that old and new sections are mixed together, and that the content is not in its usual place.

    We hope that the new website will make up for any inconvenience, and that you will enjoy greater coherence throughout and find the website simpler to use.

    Why are we making a mess?

    In the time ahead, you will notice a mixture of old and new designs in the pages on the website.

    In fall 2011, Marion County Public Schools's public websites started to be restructured allowing school and department personnel to update their own sites behind the scenes.

    Such an exercise takes time; and we hope you will bear with us!

    Under the HOT KEY at the top right, you can find links to the most frequently used content on the website, as well as the two new universes for staff and students.

    Use the new mega dropdowns to get an overview of the website's content. They open when you run your mouse over the navigation at the top.
