Mission Statement:
It is the Mission of the Facilities Department to provide safe, well-built and cost efficient learning environments for the purpose of educating the children of Marion County, while striving to incorporate the most advanced technologies and innovative construction techniques available, in order to accommodate changing methods of instruction. This effort will assure the district's mission to "Lead the State in Raising Student Performance"
Attention General Contractors and Construction Managers:
Each person or General Contractor who desires to bid on or submit a Professional Qualifications Statement as a General Contractor or Construction Manager for a school construction project must submit an application and be approved for pre-qualification. Certificates of Pre-Qualification shall be considered valid for not more than one (1) year from date of School Board approval, valid through June 30th of the following year. It shall be the responsibility of each contractor to renew their existing certificate each year, through the pre-qualification process. The next annual Pre-Qualification will take place in March 2014, please check back then for details.
