school busMarion County School District Transportation Services' goal is to provide safe, efficient, and effective transportation to the students of Marion County Public Schools to and from school. To enhance the quality of service, a call center has been created to handle the high volume of calls during peak times. For your convenience, the call center is staffed from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday during the summer and Monday through Friday during regular school days. Please call (352) 671-7050 for assistance with bus-related matters; such as, routes, pick-up and drop-off times, bus numbers, information on late buses, and many other topics.

We transport approximately 23,000 students daily. Our fleet of 253 buses traveled 5,787,564 miles in School Year 2011-2012. The school bus is truly an extension of the classroom and a vital part of our schools.
