PDA Statewide modules

• The PDA Language Development and Communication Skills module, one of thirteen modules in the PDA program continues to be offered statewide to Speech and Language pathologists interested in earning continuing education credits. The web-based course utilizes quality online instruction, online group sessions through Adobe Connect, ongoing communication with an expert course facilitator, and classroom-related assessment tasks. ASHA CEUs are available for the statewide offering of the module. This online module is also available through local FDLRS centers for in-service credits only and not ASHA CEUs. This special opportunity is free to Florida Speech and Language Pathologists and is facilitated by the Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System and the Florida State Personnel Development Grant. • PDA Foundations of Exceptional Education and PDA Transition are being offered statewide to all educators at no cost. These web-based courses, aligned with the ESE K-12 certification competencies, utilize quality online instruction, online group sessions through Adobe Connect, ongoing communication with an expert course facilitator, and classroom-related assessment tasks. Upon successful completion of either module, the participant will be awarded 60 in-service points. Orientation will be via Adobe Connect: Foundations of Exceptional Education: January 30 5:00-7pm and Transition: February 2, 5:00-7pm. Registration is available at http://fdlrs.gosignmeup.com/internal.asp. These statewide modules are facilitated by the FDLRS Administration Project.
