Welcome to the Silver River Museum
The Silver River Museum and Environmental Education Center is a program of Marion County Public Schools. The museum is located within the Silver Springs State Park off Baseline Road (CR 35) and one mile south of SR 40 and works in close cooperation with the Florida Park Service. View map.
The Silver River Museum is open weekends and on most holidays from 9 AM to 5 PM. Please note that we are closed to the public on weekdays.
Admission is $2.00 per person. Children under six are admitted free. Entrance fees also apply for the Silver Springs State Park. Contact the state park at (352) 236-7148 or click here to visit their website.
