Join us on Thursday August 30th for a Museum Open House and evening program on the Florida Cracker Horse. James Levy of the Florida Cracker Horse Association will be our guest speaker. These horses are descendents of the first Spanish horses to arrive in the New World and are an important part of Florida history. A live Cracker horse will be on-site for visitors to see up close. The Museum Open House runs from 4-6 pm, the eveing program is from 6-7 pm. There is no admission charge, however reservations are needed for the program (due to limited seating). |
