SCHOOL STARTS MONDAY, AUGUST 18TH

6th Grade Preview Day: If you are a new 6th grade student at Liberty Middle School, you will recieve an invitation in the mail to attend our preview day on Saturday, August 9th. You should receive these invitations by July 31st. There will be a morning session from 9-11am and an afternoon session from 12:30-2:30pm. If you need to reschedule your session, please call Mrs. McCleery at 291-7930 or jessica.mccleery@marion.k12.fl.us for further information.

Parents of Incoming 7th Grade Students--PLEASE READ: All incoming 7th grade students need proof of up to date immunization information before beginning school on August 18th.  The Health Department has scheduled free school immunization clinics from 8am-4pm, August 4-8, August 11-15, and August 18-20. For more information, you can call the Health Department at 629-0137, extension 2017 or Ms. Bagley at LMS. YOUR STUDENT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND SCHOOL WITHOUT GIVING THIS IMMUNIZATION INFORMATION TO LIBERTY MIDDLE SCHOOL. You may bring these to LMS Mondays-Thursdays from 8am-5pm.

7th/8th Grade Orientation: Friday, August 15th at 12:00pm, you may come to campus to attend the orientation in the cafeteria and find out your 1st period teacher for the first day of school. Representatives from transportation, food services, and extended day will be available to answer questions.Teachers will not be available to meet at this time.

Registration Information: New registrations are taken daily, Monday-Thursday from 8am-5pm. Please see Ms. Bagley for information. Her contact email is lizzie.bagley@marion.k12.fl.us.

 Generic School Supply List:  

**Please note that some individual teachers may have specific supply requirements that are not included on the above list.  Teachers will make students and parents aware of any additional supplies needed the first week of school. These are generic supplies to get the students started on day 1.
