Welcome to
Reddick-Collier Elementary School!

We are teaming up to prepare our students for

Reddick-Collier Elementary is a school where children are ready and eager to learn in a caring, safe, and orderly environment. Parents, teachers, and community members believe all children can learn, and they work as a team to provide a strong academic foundation, instill pride in achievement, and prepare students to be successful. Our educational plan focuses on clearly defined student goals, academic achievement, enhanced professional environment, and parent involvement.

TEAM RCE is ready for an EXCITING year!

We are an Extended Learning School!

Our school time is changing.  We will be extending our school time by one hour in the afternoon this entire school year.  This is required by Florida Senate Bill 1514 based on FCAT reading scores. The student day will begin at 7:45 a.m. and end at 3:05 p.m. On Early Release days, students will be dismissed at 1:05 p.m.

We are offering this additional learning time to improve reading skills for our students. This extra time will allow our teachers to work directly with students to learn how to use strategies helping them reach their academic goals.

Please note the following details:

•        Our dismissal time will be 3:05 PM each day.

•        There is no charge for your child to attend.

•        Rates for students in our afternoon Extended Day program will decrease to $25 per week (per child).

•        An afternoon snack will be provided to all students at no charge.

•        You do not need to register your child because this is part of our regular school day.

Students scoring a level  5 on FCAT Reading are not required to attend the extra hour, but attendance is encouraged so that they may participate in extended enrichment opportunities.   We are dedicated to offering an environment at our school “Where Every Child Will Succeed.”  We encourage you to “Be There” for your child and to please contact us if you have any questions about the unique opportunity involving our students.
