From the Principal...

 

Welcome Students, Parents, Family and Community: 

It is a pleasure to welcome you to  Romeo Elementary School. We have a wonderful nurturing staff with an average of more than 10 years teaching experience. Every teacher is certified, highly qualified and holds an endorsement in reading. Education is a team effort between the parent, student, and every employee on campus. We will all work together to provide positive learning experiences for our students.

 This year we will implement the national standards adopted by the Florida Department of Education, referred to as Common Core. Each grade level has certain “standards” for the core academic areas that every student should master. In the upper grades the standards are still tested with FCAT and the primary grades by a common end of course exam. Our goal is to be sure that every student has the necessary skills to be successful with their future studies.

 Romeo Elementary School is a learning center. Our efforts and concerns are dedicated to making our students’ experiences both enjoyable and rewarding. We strive to motivate and challenge each student to reach his/her full potential. Excellent effort by all is the expectation for our student body.

 Our school mascot is the Pioneer. Pioneers are people with solid character traits and bold visions. They work hard and long for their dreams. At Romeo Elementary, we will be pioneers in learning. We invite all students and parents to reach new academic goals through perseverance.
