Anthony Elementary School strives for each child to become a lifelong learner through discovery, self-discipline, and dedication to academic achievement through the cooperative efforts of the school, home, and community. Our biggest goal is to achieve Adequate Yearly Progress as it relates to the No Child Left Behind Criteria.

SCHOOL SAFETY

 Anthony Elementary School is concerned about safety - bus safety, parking lot safety, playground safety, grounds safety, and personal safety. Please don't be offended if we ask you to park in a different location, walk inside the crosswalk, or show a picture ID when picking up a child. We all have to show our children we are concerned about safety issues.  

Additionally, please do not walk to your child's classroom in the morning or at the end of the school day. Students who are walkers need to be picked up by the double doors adjacent to the front office.  Front car riders (Pre-k, 1^st, 2^nd, and their old siblings) are to be picked up at the front of the school, by the overhang.  Back car riders (3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th) are to be picked up at the back car loop, by buildings 8 and 9.  Parents must remain in the car line with a school issued pick up card in the front windshield.
