Our purpose is to provide co-curricular organizations and activities to permit all interested students an opportunity to participate. Every effort is made to avoid membership requirements that would prevent this participation.

Purpose:
To instill our members with leadership skills, teach them responsibility and vital skills for future career endeavors. FFA provides a hands-on experience in a variety of career fields through agricultural education and vocational training.
Requirements:
To be considered an active member of the Belleview High School FFA a student must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA, be enrolled in an Agriscience & Natural Resource course, and have paid the required $20.00 dues.

Major Activities:
FFA members at Belleview High School participate in a variety of activities throughout the year. Not only do many of our members showcase their hard work at the Southeastern Youth Fair and excel in a number of Career Development Events such as Floriculture, Forestry, Horse, Livestock, Nursery & Landscape, Poultry, and Vegetable Judging; they are also heavily involved in serving the Belleview and Marion County communities. Last year our members participated in Light Up Belleview,community Easter egg hunt, Ag Literacy Day, and metored students at Belleview Santos to educate them about agriculture.
Fundraisers:
The Belleview High School FFA conducts numerous fundraisers throughout the year, including: car washes, lollipop sales, plant sales, and raising chapter animals for show and sale at the Southeastern Youth Fair.

Health Occupation Students of America, Inc. (www.HOSA.org) is the appropriate Career/Technical Student Organization for providing leadership training experiences and reinforcing specific career/technical skills taught in the Health Science classroom.
Requirements:
HOSA is an integral part of the curriculum and highly recommended for all levels but mandatory for Allied Health Assisting and Directed Studies

Interact is a service and social club for young people ages 14-18. Each club is sponsored by a Rotary club, which guides the Interact members in developing local and international service projects. Interact derives its name from the words "international" and "action" reflecting the nature of an organization that exists in 110 countries and promotes active service at home and abroad.

"Act well your part; there the honor lies." This is the Thespian Motto and it clearly explains the purpose of our club - To mold young actors, technicians, and designers, to give opportunities to perform, learn, and grow, to create as a cooperative production team, to produce high-quality theatre for our students and community, and to learn from observing others.
Requirements:
The Rattler Theatre Project is open to any student with a 2.0 GPA and an interest in theatre. Thespians is only open to students who have contributed 100 hours to the theatre program; membership is by invitation only (inductions happen annually). All Thespians must maintain a 2.0 grade point average and are expected to participate in all activities.
