Social Studies Project: Creating a Brochure – Our Community April 29, 2013
Students will create a brochure called “Our Community.” The brochure will describe their community and the things it has to offer people who are considering moving to their city.
Last week, the students completed a chapter in the Civics book on “Citizenship in the Community.” The lessons included: The Different Kinds of Communities, Purposes for Communities, and How Citizens Serve Communities.
