How well do you communicate with others? Do they hear you? Do you hear them? Realizing the importance of communication in the workplace is essential to job success. This course teaches you effective oral and written communication skills for on and off the job! Topics include: interpersonal communication; appropriate writing and email skills as well as business etiquette.

Create a presentation for business, school, church or pleasure that showcases your information, images or photos. Designs, animations, transitions and setting up looping shows in addition to various priting and CD package-for-sharing options will be taught. Three 3-hour sessions.

As you continue to explore Microsoft Windows XP you will learn advanced file and web searching, Windows Media Player, copying audio CD, and Media Library. You will learn to acquire picture files, an introduction to computer networks, firewalls, maintaining and optimizing your computer, scheduling routine disk maintenance and more.

Migrating to Office 2007

Students will learn about resume format styles, templates and data gathering and have the opportunity to prepare a professional resume ready to use.
