Employment Opportunities

Extended Day Program
The Extended Day Program is available at all of the elementary schools and some middle schools throughout the Marion County Public School District.

There are approximately 3000 students enrolled in our program and we are currently looking for new and energetic staff memebers to join the team as Extended Day Site Managers and Group Leaders

Site Managers supervise Group Leaders. They are responsible for collecting fees, keeping accurate account records, training staff and students, regularly interacting with parents/guardians, and supervising the overall operation of their site. A high school diploma or GED is required. Applicants must have experience in child care and must have State Mandated 40 Hour Child Care Training, First Aid, and CPR training, and a 45 Hour Child Care Management Certificate. Computer literacy and management/supervisory experience is preferred. The Site Manager position is a full-time position with benefits. Site Managers work a split shift.  

Group Leaders are responsible for the direct care of our school age students. Work hours vary according to program needs. Group Leaders work up to 35 hours per week. They plan and supervise activities, play games, do arts and crafts, and supervise quiet time for completion of homework. A high school diploma or GED is required.  State Mandated 40 Hour Child Care Training is required before the one year anniversary of employment.
