CHANGES TO THE ABE/GED AND ESOL PROGRAMS
As of July 1, 2011, the state of Florida has mandated changes to the ABE/GED and ESOL programs that will require students to make a monetary investment towards their education. Community Technical & Adult Education's ABE/GED and ESOL program classes will require Florida residents to pay $45 per semester tuition fee and a one-time $10 registration fee*. Non-residents will have to pay a higher semester tuition fee. In addition to the tuition fee, some classes have undergone curriculum and schedule modifications to improve the effectiveness of instruction. All new students to each program will continue to attend orientations prior to the start of a session. To view the details regarding changes to the ABE/GED program, please click here.
