Dunnellon High School

Welcome to Dunnellon High School!

Home of the Fighting Tigers!!!

Make It Matter - each day, each hour, each lesson - to every child.

It's great to be a Tiger!!!  For the third year in a row, Dunnellon High School is a 'B' school.  We are proud to have maintained a 'B' even with more rigorous grading criteria set forth by the Florida Department of Education.  We are proud to have again posted the highest graduation rate in our county and a rate that is significantly above the state average.  DHS is home of two district magnet programs: The Power Generation Academy, a unique partnership with Duke Energy and our new Advanced Studies Program, which offers students a focused academic curriculum combining Advanced Placement course offerings with increased Dual Enrollment course offerings on the Dunnellon High School campus.  We achieved the second highest achievement rate in our district on Advanced Placement tests in 2011-2012, including the highest in AP Chemistry and AP English Literature.  We are also one of only two MCPS schools to offer College of Central Florida classes on our campus and we will be expanding the amount of course offerings for 2013.  These are just more reasons that it is GREAT to be a Tiger!!!
