CROP Program

Welcome to Dunnellon High School's CROP Program

In partnership with Central Florida College, CROP prepares economically disadvantaged young people to meet the requirements and expectations of a college education. It focuses on building academic and study skills, building support sytems and generating motivation. At Dunnellon High School (DHS) the CROP program includes field trips to universities, tutoring in academic subjects, assistance with college applications, scholarships and entrance exams.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

  • ***To strengthen the educational motivation and preparation of at risk students in grades 6-12.
  • ***To increase the number of students who successfully complete high school and post-secondary education.
  • ***To offer after-school academic tutoring, FCAT/CPT/SAT/ACT preparation classes, summer enrichment programs, college campus tours, and educational field trips.

If you have any questions concerning any CROP activity or program, please see Ms. Mack-Harrell.
