Located in southwest Marion County, Dunnellon High School serves a diverse student body from rural Marion, Citrus, and Levy Counties. The student population of 1150 is 62% majority and 38% minority. We provide a comprehensive education for students in grades 9 through 12.

Our Vision and Focus

It is our goal to maintain a strong academic focus while providing every opportunity for our students to participate in athletics and extra curricular activities. We work to educate the mind, body and spirit of each student we are fortunate enough to call a Tiger!

With our primary goal the achievement of every student, we call on students and teachers to focus on the following things:

  • Building positive teacher/student relationships (“Before a child cares how much we know, he must first know how much we care.” Anonymous)
  • Creating a culture of excellence through high expectations (“Only those who are willing to risk going too far will ever know how far they can go.” T.S. Elliott)
  • Cultivating a spirit of service (“I am only one; but I am still one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. I will not refuse to do the something I can do.” Helen Keller)
