The media center acts as a lab for virtual school students. This lab times allows our students who are enrolled in virtual classes to have computer time to actively work in their classes. This semester we have students enrolled the following courses:8th Grade Advanced US History, 8th Grade Science, 8th Grade Math, and 7th Grade Language Arts. Off Task Policy (Students are considered off task if they are not actively working in their virtual school program. For example: playing games, surfing the Internet and homework/classwork for other classes, etc) • 1st Offense – Conference with Student • 2nd Offense – Note Home (to be signed and returned) • 3rd Offense – Phone Call to Parent/Guardian • 4th Offense - Referral Students enrolled in virtual school classes are assigned teachers. I act as their lab manager during their schedule virtual school class.

Required Materials • Notebook or folder for class notes and assignments • Headphones (for listening to videos) • Ream of printer paper (8.5 x11) for printing class notes and assignments • Suggested materials: flash drive (helpful for saving assignments to work on at home)

Students will receive a completion grade when they have met all the requirements for their course.
