2nd Annual Spring Fling at the Fort
And Off-Road Vehicle Show
Friday, April 4th, 5PM - 8PM
Mark the date on your calendar 4/4/14. Ft. McCoy School PTO presents the “2014 Spring Fling and Off-Road Vehicle Show”. We will have Hamster Balls, Laser Tag, U-Launcher, carnival booths, Bungee Run, bounce house, slides and much more. All ADULTS will receive one (1) ticket at the gates to enter into our door prize of 4 single day admission tickets to AQUATICA WATERPARK! CALLING ALL DADS for our second annual “Off Road Vehicle Show”. ATV’s, Mud Trucks, Side by Sides, Jeeps, Airboats, we want to see it all! Your “ride” will be on display for everyone in attendance to vote on. Top prizes will be awarded for “Best in Show”. There is NO entry fee. Field Trip Information
Student's School Day -- 7:45 - 2:05 PM
Breakfast Served -- 7:10 AM
Teacher Day -- 7:00 - 2:45 PM
Early Release Times -- 12:05 PM
School Office Hours -- 7:00 - 3:00 PM
No charge for breakfast or lunch, due to a new program. The program, called the Community Eligibility Option (CEO), provides breakfast and lunch to all elementary students regardless of income. Because we are a K-8 school, all of our students are eligible for this program. The program is federally-funded, comes at no additional expense to local taxpayers, and benefits children by providing more nutritious meals with less paperwork. Food service dollars pay for this program separately from the district’s general operating budget. These funds can only be used for food service expenses.
EXTENDED DAY FEES AND REGISTRATION
Non-refundable Registration fee for each school site:
$20.00 per child. Each child attending must have their own seperate regitstration form filled out. Failure to comply with registration guidelines may result in the loss of your child's position on the roster. The first week's fees are due on the 1st day of school. Please note that your child is registering for a slot in the Extended Day Program. Registration fees hold you slot for two weeks at the beginning of school. Please note any special needs your child may have on your registration form.

PM $38.00 per child

$26.00 / child must be registered for early release
Emergency Last Minute Fees (No cash, please. Checks or money orders only)
Morning - $6.00 / child Afternoon - $20.00 / child
Maximum of SIX (6) times per child per school year.
Available upon request of Parent / Guardian
Late Pick-Up Penalty (No cash, please. Checks or money orders only)
$10.00 / child for every 15 minutes after 6:00pm (This fee is calculated by the time on the school clock.)
Automatic dismissal from the program after THREE (3) Late Pick-Ups. Children who remain on site after 6:45 PM will be released into the custody of a law enforcement officer.
For safety purposes, all visitors must first report to the front office in Building 1 where they will be asked for a photo ID. We will hold your ID and in exchange will give you an identification badge to wear while you are on campus. Please do not go anywhere else on the campus other than your specified visit location. Classrooms cannot be interrupted during the day. Thank you for helping us to keep a safe campus for all of our students
STUDENT CAR RIDER POLICY
The front drive of the school will be restricted to bus traffic from 6:45 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. The car rider loop will be open from 7:10 a.m. – 7:45 a.m. in the morning (students will not be permitted to exit their cars until an adult is present at 7:20) and from 1:35 p.m. – 2:20 p.m. in the afternoon. Elementary students dismiss at 2:00 and middle school students dismiss at 2:05. If you are picking up a middle school student, please refrain from entering the car rider line until after 2:10. As was policy last year, you should have a sign displayed in your front windshield with your child’s name clearly visible. Thank you.
