Horizon Academy Pom Squad

The Horizon Pom Squad was started at Sunrise Elementary School a few years ago and moved to Horizon Academy when it first opened. The Pom Squad is a mix of baton twirling, cheering, and dance. The Horizon Pom Squad is directed by Mary Krizanac . Mrs. Mary Krizanac is a certified Physical Best instructor and Baton Twirling instructor.

The Pom Squad is a representation of our school and members are expected to act appropriately at all times. To become a member of the squad, students will be judged on willingness to learn a routine, sportsmanship, cheerfulness, and performance. To continue as a team member, students are expected to take part in practices, afterschool events, and fundraisers.

Tryouts will be held at the end of September and practices will be held one day a week after school beginning October.
