Our mission at Harbour View Elementary is to create an innovative environment where ALL children, regardless of differences, will excel. We are dedicated to excellence in education so that each child will become a productive citizen in an ever-changing world.
Harbour View has an “A” rating for the last eight years by the state and made adequate yearly progress in 2004, 2005, 2008 and 2009. Our main goal is to continue to maintain this level of success.

Science Fair Coming this Month

Parents and Students, it is that time of year when we all become hands-on scientists! Our Science Fair will be January 26, 2012 from 6:30-7:30 p.m... Students who are in K-3 will complete class projects with teacher at school and projects will be on display. Their teachers will guide them through the scientific process and all work will be completed at school.
Our 4th and 5th graders will all be required to complete an individual project. All work for this will be done at home. Science Fair guideline packets for 4th and 5th grade students will go home on December 2. Please look for them and use them as a teaching tool with your child. ALL projects MUST be turned in no later than Monday, January 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m... Any project turned in after that will be considered late and the appropriate points will be deducted from the student’s grade.
