Circulation Policy

Students may check out up to three books for two weeks.

Holds & Inter-Library Loan

  • A book can be renewed ONCE if a hold has not need requested.
  • Students may place a hold on any book that is currently checked out to another student.
  • If we don't have a book you are looking for, we can request a copy from another Media Center in Marion County.
  • Stop by the circulation desk for these services.

Fines & Debt List

  • A fine of $.05 per school day will be charged to students on all overdue books after a three day grace period.
  • If a book is returned damaged beyond repair, the student is responsible for replacement cost for that book.
  • Reminders will be sent to all students with late books and fines.
  • Failure to pay your fines will result in being placed on the school debt list, limiting your ability to participate in school activities.

Library Etiquette

No food or beverages are permitted in the Library Media Center.

Since we wish to offer a place conducive to reading, research, and study, we encourage students to respect other persons' rights to have a quiet atmosphere in which to work.

Students who visit the library for no purpose other than socialize with friends will be asked to return to class promptly.

Library Services

We provide Internet access on computers for research purposes. Student can access their Live@edu accounts in the Media Center

Students are reminded that they must follow all rules outlined in the Student Code of Conduct when using any school computer or network service.

  • Teachers may sign up for class time in the MC by accessing the shared calendar.
