LWMS Students

Dear Eagles,
I hope your summer has started off with family time and fun!  Our summer school programs are underway and I am glad to see so many students are taking advantage of Plato to retake courses if needed.  I will call to notify you when report cards are ready to be picked up at the school.  We are waiting on Student FCAT reports, which should be in this week.

Please help me welcome Mrs. Paige Zadnik, our new Assistant Principal of Curriculum, to Lake Weir Middle School.  She comes to us from Horizon Academy where she was Assistant Principal of Discipline.   Mrs. Zadnik’s leadership in Marion County also includes the previous role of Activities Coordinator at Vanguard High School.  We are very excited to have her join our LWMS team!

Students going in to 7th grade,
Mark your calendar for our vaccination day at LWMS on July 8, 2014 from 2-4pm. You must have vaccinations to start school in August!

As always, please contact the school if we can be of assistance during the summer months.

Stephanie Callaway

Principal
