LWMS Students

Dear Parents,

Thank you for a terrific grand opening to the school year! Your participation in all school realted activities, such as parent-teacher conferences, after-school activities, attendance, homework and, yes, fundraisers, is why we are able to achieve success for all! I’d like to invite you to continue our partnership by supporting Lake Weir Middle’s annual COUPONS FOR EDUCATION campaign.

COUPONS FOR EDUCATION has raised more money for local schools than any other fundraiser in the past two decades.

The campaign kicks off Thursday, Sept. 4th. Simply encourage your child as they offer the $20 coupon books to family and friends. When you participate, everybody wins!

You win: COUPONS FOR EDUCATION books are packed with more than $1,500 worth of savings from local merchants you know and trust; including coupons for Winn Dixie, Regal Cinemas, McDonalds, and Sports Authority! Not only are the coupons fun to use, but you’ll recoup the cost of your investment by using just one or two coupons.

Lake Weir Middle wins:  For every book sold, our school is guaranteed $8.50 to help pay for much-needed supplies and equipment.

Public Education wins:  The Public Education Foundation of Marion County receives money for every book sold. The proceeds support scholarships, grants, and events, such as the annual Golden Apple Teacher awards.

Our community wins:  Not only are COUPONS FOR EDUCATION a great way to stretch your family budget, but every time you redeem a coupon, you support local businesses.

There will be County-wide incentive prizes your child could win for their sales efforts in addition to the incentive prizes they will have the opportunity to win here at Lake Weir Middle.September 22nd will be the last day book sales will be counted toward prizes.

In these times when quality education is so vital to our children’s future, the COUPONS FOR EDUCATION program can make and positive difference in our schools.  Please join us by supporting COUPONS FOR EDUCATION and encouraging your child’s participation.
