Are you looking for some creative ways to help your child learn foundational reading skills easily at home?  Or perhaps you’re searching for some great tips to help increase your child’s reading comprehension?  Check out these informative videos produced by Christel Clear Learning Innovations for Marion County Schools and brought to you by Title I.  They can be found by clicking on the PARENTS TAB of Marion County Public Schools main page, OR by visiting the Title I/Parent Resource website.   Just type in the password MarionCountySchools (note capital M, C, and S) when prompted.  ENJOY the videos and thanks for “being there” for your child!

Important: Is your 6th grader ready for 7th grade? All Students entering the 7th grade MUST have a Tdap vaccine, tetanus, diphtheria adn acellular pertussis booster. Beat teh back to school rush. Staff from the Florida Department of Health in Marion County will be at LWMS to provide teh Tdap booster at NO COST OR COPAY to you!! WHERE: Lake Weir Middle WHEN: May 14th from 3:30 - 5:00pm *Parent/Guardian must be present with student*


If you are interested in volunteering your time at Lake Weir Middle we ask that  you please fill out volunteer applicatiion and attach a copy of your drivers licence. Applications can be delivered to the front desk or returned to school with your student. Click here for the application.
