Welcome to Second Grade!   I know we will have a wonderful year together!   Please feel free to contact me through a note in your child's planner, by email, or call and leave a message at the school number:  291-7975.   I will get back to you as soon as possible.   Please remember to check and sign your child's planner each night.  

Please be sure your child wears TENNIS SHOES on PE Days.

Your child's homework each night Monday through Thursday is:  Read for 20 minutes, and practice basic addition and subtraction facts.   There will also occasionally be a worksheet for Math, Spelling, or Reading sent home. 

A monthly newsletter is stapled in your child's planner.   This newsletter includes our spelling and vocabulary words for each week, special tests that will be given each week, and tells you what we are studying in each subject.
