Madison Street Academy is committed
to providing a quality learning environment that ensures student success through the integration of arts and academics.

Welcome to Our School!

Madison Street Academy of Visual and Performing Arts promotes academic excellence in reading, math, science, language arts, and social studies, while offering students opportunities in fine arts, communication, technology and languages.

Curriculum diversity and integration is Madison Street’s most distinguishing feature. Instruction is personalized, ensuring high standards of academic and behavioral success. The Academy provides an excellent background for students interested in advanced studies or the International Baccalaureate program at the high school level. We also provide remediation for those students who need extra support with their academic achievement.

Florida’s First Lady, Ann Scott, is encouraging students to read this summer through the fifth annual

Summer Literacy Adventure.

The school with the most pledged and read books will receive a special visit from Mrs. Scott this fall!

  • "Research shows that children who do not continue reading through the summer can lose a month or more of progress made during the school year."  Please visit the 2015 Summer Literacy Adventure website with your child and pledge to make reading an important part of your summer.
  • If your child reads at least two books a day, they will read over 70 books this during the break.
