Description/Objectives:

Students at this level should have some intent of developing a portfolio for higher level art training at or a career in the field of art.  More studies in observation will evolve into unique compositions using life forms, still-life, and landscape.  The three-dimensional realm will be delved into.

Experimentation in media will be paramount at this level as competitions are manditory and different solutions to compositional questions must be dealt with.

Materials Needed:

Pencils and 9"x12" sketchbook. Other items will be discussed and could be obtained on the discretion of the individual.

Grading/Evaluation:

All work will be critiqued and returned. Grades will correlate to those imposed by the Marion County School Board policy.
