My name is Stumpf...the "f" is silent. Welcome to my world. I earned my Bachelor's Degree "cum laude" from Ohio State University in English. I earned my Master's Degree in philosophy at the University of Toledo. I taught for several years in Ohio, retired, moved down here, immediately UN-retired and started here. I am beginning my 42nd year in teaching. I have five children.  My twin daughters (Maya and Dylan) just graduated high school.  Maya is going to UCF and Dylan is going to CCF. Jasmine is 23 and currently working in Miami in water management.  My oldest daughter (Sarah) is a lawyer in Philadelphia. I've a son (Rob) who lives in Iowa and has two sons. He has a degree as a chiropractor but doesn't practice. My hobbies include reading, listening to music, playing guitar and thinking. I think about things people don't think about thinking about. My nickname is "The Intellectual Hobo" I think the most important thing we can teach our kids is that learning is fun and that they can do it; if we don't teach them that, it doesn't matter what we teach.
