Students will be expected to understand the essential elements of geography, reading of maps, describing the emergence of early civilizations, recognizing significant events, figures, and contributions of civilizations.

A World History/Ancient Civilization textbook will be issued to each student. Loose-leaf paper, one-subject notebook(wide-ruled would be best),pencils are needed as well as the binder everyday in class. Basic supplies of highlighers, pen, colored pencils should be a part of their binder supplies.
