The dictionary is the only place that success comes before work. Hard work is the price we must pay for success. I think you can accomplish anything if you're willing to pay the price. ~Vince Lombardi
Welcome back for the 2012-2013 school year! This is my 13th year teaching at Osceola Middle School. I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and have lived my entire life in this wonderful state. I graduated from the University of Florida with a major in English and received my teaching certification from Florida Southern. My certifications include Grades 5-9 Language Arts, ESE and ESOL.
Traveling, reading and spending time at the beach with my family and friends are some of my favorite pastimes. I have been married to my husband, Bob, for 30 years. We have two adult daughters that both attended Osceola Middle School and graduated from Marion County Public Schools.
I am honored and excited to have the opportunity to work with you this year. Please use this website as a tool for your success. If you are willing to work, I have no doubt that you will have a successful year. Over the next 180 days we will explore a wide variety of assignments and activities to strengthen reading, vocabulary, and writing skills. Come to class with a questioning mind, you will have volumes of knowledge within your reach! Let's have a great year!!
