Mrs. Natalia Robledo, Assistant Principal

It is wonderful to be at Sunrise Elementary as the Assistant Principal for the fourth year now. There have been so many changes that we have overcome together. I wanted to take a few minutes to tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I began my teaching career in Miami way before I even graduated from college. I taught private piano lessons for several years, having more than 30 students ranging in age from 5 to 35. My first teaching job was in 1999, teaching 3^rd grade. From 1999-2005, I taught 2^nd, 3^rd, and 5^th grade at Sunset Park Elementary.

In the summer of 2005, I moved to Ocala with my husband and 2 boys Andres (then 2 years old) and Christopher (then 3 months old). I started my new life in Ocala teaching 3rd grade at Dunnellon Elementary. In January of 2008, I became the acting dean at Dunnellon until the end of the school year. August 2008-2009, I moved to Evergreen Elementary as the Reading Coach - little did I know I would be there for only one year. I  became the Assistant Principal of Sunrise in 2009.
