Being a Safety Patrol

By: Ty Y.

Monday, October 20, 2014

Being a safety patrol is hard work and only the best can get the job. It’s very difficult most of the time and can be very tiring. Though it’s exhausting, it’s got its privileges such as the D.C. trip and so on. I say this through personal experience. There are many kids who are mean and run to get your attention. These students are the hardest to discipline at the time. To handle it, we go to higher ranks or staff like teachers or captains. They handle it from there. That’s what happens if you’re a safety patrol. To keep our school safe, safety patrols try to keep kids from breaking rules. I also forgot to mention that you must be polite when you tell people to do something and if someone’s hurt then you MUST assist them.
