Topics of study include chemistry, cells, ecology, heredity, classification, evolution, microbes and biotechnology, scientific method, applications of statistics, and the human body.
Homework and reading are essential to success on the IB test. Class time will include many hands on activities to reinforce what you have read at home.
Individual internally assessed labs will be required. This means each student will have to design and carry out several labs independently and unique from all others.
A 10 hour group 4 project is also required for this class.
