Student Volunteer/Community Service Information
Students are encouraged to complete hours to meet qualifications for Bright Futures as well as volunteer hours to assist them with scholarship opportunities.

Parents are invited and encouraged to volunteer at school. Every effort will be made to find parents a way to participate actively in his/her child's education.
Volunteers are needed to tutor students,supervise field trips, be members of our advisory board, and assist with activities involving our sports teams, etc.
How to Volunteer for VHS
In order to provide the safest possible environment for our students, all volunteers must have a Volunteer Application on file and approved 10 days prior to volunteering with our students. This application must be completed each school year and requires a clear copy of your driver's license. These forms are available at the front office or accessed via this link Volunteer Form These forms can be returned to the Front Office, coach, or club sponsor.
Request to Transport Students in a Private Vehicle:
If you wish to transport VHS students for a school activity or sport, you must fill out and have approved the Volunteer Form AND a Request to Transport Students in a Private Vehicle form. These forms are available at the Front Office or accessed via this link. Request to Transport Form. These forms must be submitted to the Front Office, club sponsor, or coach with a clear copy of your driver's license and current insurance card listing the vehicle you wish to drive. This approval will take 10 to 15 days to process.
