Students are encourage to complete hours to meet qualifications for Bright Futures as well as volunteer hours to assist them with scholarship opportunities.

Parent Volunteers
Parents are invited and encouraged to volunteer at school. Every effort will be made to find every parent a way to participate actively in his/her child's education.
Volunteers are needed to tutor students,supervise field trips, be on our advisory board, help with sports, etc.
How to Volunteer for VHS
Volunteer Application:
In order to provide the safest possible environment for our students, all volunteers must have a Volunteer Application on file and approved 10 days prior to volunteering with our students. This application must be filled out every year. Also, each application must be accompanied by a clear copy of your driver's license. These froms are available at the front office or accessed at this link Volunteer Form These forms can be turned in to the front desk.
Request to Transport Students in a Private Vehicle If you wish to transport VHS students for a school activity you must fill out and have approved the Volunteer Form AND a Request to Transport Students in a Private Vehicle form. These forms are available at the front office or accessed via this lia Request to Transport Form These forms must be submitted to the front office with a clear copy of your driver's license and current insurance card listing the vehicle you wish to drive. This approval will take 10 to 15 days to process.
