MCPS Online Parent Survey
The Marion County Public Schools District believes that information provided by parents about a school’s climate is very important. Additionally, all staff believes that parent involvement is a key to ensuring a quality education for all children. An anonymous survey has been posted on the district home page. We ask that you please complete this survey once per child. If you have more than one child in Marion County Public Schools, please fill out the survey for each child's school and grade level. The MCPS Online Parent Survey website address is http://www.marion.k12.fl.us/dept/fep/survey2012/survey.cfm
Please be aware this is a different survey from the survey that was sent home with the report cards. The MCPS Online Parent Survey is required by the Title I program. All of the information is very important for decision making at our school and the school district. We hope you participate with both surveys.
Survey results will be used to:
• Implement the District's Strategic Plan
• Improve School Improvement Plans
• Plan activities for parents
• Improve communications to parents
• Improve school climate
• Meet Title I/No Child Left Behind requirements
• Understand the need for staff development
