Welcome students and parents!  My name is Candace Hermann.  I teach Biology I Honors here at WPHS!  I know that all of my students are capable of achieving greatness and I expect nothing less.  I believe that hard work pays off but I also believe that laughter is often the key to success.  :-)

As far as letting you know a little bit more about me:

I was born and raised here in Ocala but have been blessed to be able to say I’ve been to 44 of the 50 United States!  (Only 6 more to go!)  (I Love to travel!)

I have also been out of the country multiple times including having lived in Romania for 2 months.

I myself graduated high school from right here at WPHS and am proud and always excited to be a part of anything WP related!

I cheered all 4 years that I was here.

I was a  part of HOSA and the medical program all 4 years I was here as well as part of the National Honors Society.

I graduated with my AA from CFCC and my BA from Saint Leo University.

I have an amazing, loving, and supportive husband who helps me to be a better teacher/coach/person always.

Overall, I love science and love having fun learning/teaching science! :-)
