    Welcome!

It is an honor to have been selected to teach here at West Port! I am looking forward to an exciting, yet busy year.  In keeping with West Port's motto: "Leading the District in Raising Student Performance," students  will be working hard to reach higher standards and performance.

My name is Carleather Falana Ponder and this is my second year here at West Port as a teacher. I bring to CBVT and the other classes over 20 years of business experience and 15 years of community leadership. I received my Associates Degrees from Central Florida Community College (Administrative Assistant) and Saint Leo University (Business Management). I received my Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and I have been accepted into the  MBA Program at Florida A&M University School of Business and Industry.

I enjoy reading, cooking, genealogy, and spending time with my HUGH family!
